The PTA

The main purpose of OLOTA PTA is to raise money for extra items. This is achieved by various events such as discos, cake sales, summer and Christmas fayres as well as other fundraisers throughout the year. For the academic year 2017 / 2018 OLOTA PTA ran 22 separate events

Requests are then made by the school and the members of OLOTA PTA decide which requests they will fund. Over the past few years OLOTA PTA has funded lots of different things including the following:-

• Lighting System

• Mud Kitchens

• Bubble lamps

• Guillotine

• Extra Staging

• Year 6 Hoodies (partial)

• PA System

• Christmas Party Days

• Floor Rugs

• Mugs for The Lounge

• Gazebos

• Board Games & DVDs For Wet Play

• New PTA games

• 7 x Planters For Garden Project

OLOTA PTA is completely reliant on volunteers to be able to run. All parents / carers are automatically PTA members and are welcome at all meetings and new parents are encouraged to come along and have their say.
